DAY ONE | May 26, 2016 (Thursday) | South San Joaquin Valley

Departure by chartered buses from the Hilton at Union Square, San Francisco following the contours of the coastal mountain range and on to the great central valley, accompanied by presentations describing the uniqueness of California’s climate, water conveyance systems, early migration and its impact on California agriculture of today.

American Pistachio Growers is an agricultural trade association representing members who are pistachio growers, processors, and industry partners in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. APG conducts promotion and marketing campaigns of American grown pistachios in the U.S. and in international markets, conducts pistachio nutrition research, and represents members on issues of critical importance.
