Bill Carriere is the CEO of Carriere Family Farms, a family partnership with 11 family member owners, who are third, fourth and fifth generation California farmers. Under Carriere Family Farms, Bill and his family harvest 2,200 acres of walnuts. They also custom harvest walnuts for their neighbors, operate two walnut hulling and drying facilities, and have a walnut processing and packing plant in northern California.
Bill is a graduate of University of California, Davis and the California Ag Leadership Program, and is also a current board member of the California Walnut Board. Bill is active in his church and community, serving on the board of trustees for Enloe Medical Center and as chairman of the Glenn County Planning Commission. Bill and his wife Jen live on the family farm with three college age children, Stephanie, Sean and Christina.
